"Keeping Your Head Up" by Birdy | Figure Skating Choreography

This choreographed program is all about showing off beginner skills! You don't have to have amazing skating skills to have your own program, you don't even need intermediate skills to have your own program! If you can skate a little bit here and there, why not start putting together some simple skills to your favorite music?

And that's exactly what we did this week!  For this choreographed program we went using only elements you would learn in the learn to skate (skate school) program. This included pumps, backward crossovers, a waltz jump and even a basic upright spin. All done to the beautiful song "Keeping Your Head Up" by Birdy. Hopefully this program convinces you to grab your favorite song and to start choreographing your very own program. Enjoy!
