Too many figure skaters are skipping off-ice workouts.  

We absolutely get it as well. How on Earth can you find time to practice on the ice, tick all the boxes in your personal and professional life and then work out on top of that? We all know it’s important to build strength in the gym (off-ice), but finding time to make it happen is what stops all of us, especially when we can choose to skate instead!  

So how do we make time for an off-ice workout? We make it a 10 minute workout and blast those muscles with exactly what they need.  

Sure we can still do an hour long workout and focus on areas like balance, rotations and flexibility. But for a quick workout to get a musle group feeling the burn, 10 minutes is all we need. We’ve used this same strategy with our students and had great results!  

In this lesson we’re going to show you how a 10 minute leg workout is not only acceptable, but can be just what you need to kick start your off-ice practices.
